Today's ScriptureShe came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped.Luke 8:44, NIVMoved by Faith, Uniquely Made Team, in Luke 8, there were many sick people in the crowd on the day that the woman who had an issue of blood for twelve years was healed.

Many people that needed healing, restoration, or breakthroughs bumped up against Jesus, but nothing happened.

What was different about this lady? She fought through her doubts and disappointments and touched Jesus with expectancy, believing that healing was coming, knowing that things were about to change, declaring that favor was on the way.

God works where there’s faith. He sees our needs, but He’s moved by our faith. What activates the divine flow is when we believe that God can do what seems impossible. It’s when we go around talking about how big our God is rather than about how big the problem is or how the odds are against us or what naysayers have said.

It’s when you’re believing that God is supernatural and never runs out of options. The question is, Are you brushing up against Him with your needs or are you touching Him? Be like this lady and touch Him.

A Prayer for Today“Father, thank You for Your presence in my life today and that my faith can push through to You and see You do amazing things. Thank You for how great You are and that I can reach out and touch You by faith. I declare that I am stretching my faith to believe in You in greater ways. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
